When will the new version / new version beta arrive?

I am just a little curious when the new version with the "upload" feature would come.

I hope someone would write you a Java applet so that we could resume during uploads (Extremely great if those who are uploading who are modem users)
BTW, just one suggestion, IF the server does support resuming in the new version, could you add a feature that allows the uploader to set ownership so that others won't damage the file? And after the file has been successfully uploaded, the ownership settings are then deleted... Or is there a better way for managing this?

i thought i could work on it during my holidays
but they are gone and i had much more work than i thought

i want to get a stable 1.6 before, and i don't know when i will get more spare time. so no ETA at this time.

My question is asking how much work you have done on version 2. (Starting, 25%, 50% etc)
I didn't ask you when version 2 is going to be released!
