I'm not a friend of fake commands that display hints, because by that way menues grow and grow with stuff that 'simple users' don't understand.
In my opinion it would be better that between various posters we try to establish a common structure and guidelines for a good helpfile, more closely related to hfs than the wiki.
Even if the posters and visitors or the forum show more tecnical interest than the 'simple user', i think we should not forget that the user basis would be formed by people that are perhaps not interested in 'beautiful things' like bandwidth-graphs, download stats etc. They only need a good working personal web-fileserver as hfs is, with a simple way to add files and folders, and a simple way to add useres an give then access rights. They may use it instead of myspace and stuff like that and with better results.
So even we can switch between easy and expert mode, I think the menus will grow to much - let's wait for a better user interface in the style of the options window of user accounts in expert mode, and let a good titeled topic about 'tricks' in the forum, so that interested users may find them easy.
