I just had an idea!  :-\

It would be pretty cool if there was a way to customise the colours of the graph.... i looked through this forum and it seems that no one has asked this before.... It would be nice to be able to customise the graph colours to match your template using hex or rgb colour scheme. And of course having a default button to restore the hfs default colours ;D. I dont quite understand how the image works or even if this is possible at all... but i thought i should share this idea that popped into my head lol.

well, it was actually already asked (maybe 1 year ago), but i didn't like the way i got it then.

this time i see a different way: we can configure the colors directly from the URL. no extra menu items. i like this way.

OOOH this is a very good idea, just like how we change the size of the graph in the source url we will be able to set colours.... that could work very nicely! and also when distributing the user templates it will be set up already for them!  :D

hmm. i'm not sure if you've thought of this already, but if ppl enter a 0 in either width or height
of the graph, should it either not display or go to some default value? Also, setting refresh rate
to 0 would have it not refresh, rather than refresh on an infinate loop.

Wooo havent tried it yet, but it looks like a really nice way to do this, the ToG will have this and other fixes in it within the week :).

Btw... the footer in the wiki seems to glitch in IE7 here... the margins dont seem to work... it is just one line...

0 should just be handled to not let the server crash.
except for this stability consideration, who needs the 0 value? 0 is just unacceptable

why not? if you don't need refresh, just don't specify it. By typing "xx" instead of "x0x" you are skipping the value. the zero instead is a value.

uff, i guess it is a fault of the current theme.
i see two solutions
- we fix the theme, but i have no time for it these days
- you select another theme. for myself indeed i'm using the ugly but function "monobook". see preferences.

ok, i have been testing build.081 with the graph colours, and these are my findings.

for some reason... the rgb colours are wrong...

e.g. i will put simple version with just background colour change.

Below is the code for the graph.
<img src="/~img_graph300x135xx036" alt="Graph" style="border:1px solid #fff;">

now, 036 or 003366 should be a similiar colour blue to the header of the box... but it is bright red lol. not exactly what i was expecting...

Yes, I confirm there is something wrong with the RGB colors.  I was playing around with the graph color options and noticed that some colors came out correct and others were simply wrong.  My preferred mode was RRGGBB.  For example if you wanted red you got blue.  If you wanted blue you got red.  There were other color errors also.  I came to the conclusion the default colors were the best for me.  Every change I made looked hideous. :D

I want to change them, and i have a colour set i want to put on it... i think maybe the rgb colours are being read backwards?

Because red is at the other end of the spectrum...
