Yes you are right, I use the Kana because I also run a FTP and Apache. If you run HFS only, you don't need Kana Updater.

hi, I use port foward, configure the firewall (WinXP, Norton Antivirus 2005), and HFS don't work...  8O

Does it work if you turn your firewall OFF?

I edit the HOSTS file and it works, but I can't access, only by using my internal IP (10.0.0.7) but the others, from internet can enter

I tried to NAT my internal IP and to setup my router's firewall but nothing happened, I really don't know what can I do, any call from internet to the port I choose for HFS, is refused by the router (a zyxel prestige), anyone can help me please? thx a lot
