I think it would also be great if the administrator could log on remotely with a password and not necessarily change settings, but could see ip addresses that have logged on, a list of files downloaded and how many times, hmm... maybe the average transfer speed, etc etc. Overall, it would be neat for me to be able to log on from far away and get a good idea of what is going on. If there was a way to stop the server if there was trouble that would be a plus too, but I don't know if that would be possible.

Thanks for listening and for all your hard work.

there are plenty of remote access utilities you can use for that:
VNC, Radmin, PCAnyWhere  and more...

Hi!

I have another feature idea.

I think u should make an option which is able
to hide the "images" download in the log dialog.

I mean this:
11:45:30  127.0.0.1:2341 Requested GET/
11:45:33  127.0.0.1:2341 Served 1673 bytes
11:45:33  127.0.0.1:2341 Requested GET/~img31

So i think this is not very important in the log file.

Oh, and another thing.

R u abel to add a line (can be optional) in the log when a file
is "served" and it is fully downloaded?
I mean i get:  ... server xxx bytes now ... but i don't know
wherther the user cancelled the download of a file or
he really finished downloading it. I always have to check
the files size somewhere else to know this.

Hope understand my english.

ok for the admin panel
ok for the icons option

it is not easy to detect FULL downloads, because many people downloads in several chunks.
i think we can assume that if someone downloads the last byte of a file, then he downloaded the whole file.

For now I sujest sharing the log file like any other file. It could be in hiden folder. That way we can check hfs activity remotely.
