Do note that mb=/=MB, in the end the lower speed is the one that sets how fast the downloads are made. Since your upload speed is the lowest 2mb=~256KBps at max (and hipotectical, signals aren't always 100%) and maybe due to internet traffic (internet lines are used by more than just one people at once in an area) speeds generally decrease especially during daylight in high populational areas.

try to use the beta 2.3:

-> Expert mode:on
-> Menu -> Updates -> Updates form official to beta versions -> check for news/updates
and get the lates beta.
your computer has no brain - use your own !

there's a special version of 2.2 that i'm asking people to test.
this version should solve the speed problem.
give this a try, and PLEASE report if it works.

well i tried it 2.2f speed test

and it is faster from 70kbs to 100kbs on average

but its still faster to send files over instant messenger

i love this software but i would love it way more if it would consistantly download over 200kbs

thank you very much for reporting.
it would be very interesting to know what speed you get by using 2.3 beta.
It may be the same, but there are actually some differences.
You'll find last version in this forum
http://www.rejetto.com/forum/index.php?board=33.0

what instant messenger gave you more speed?

I was able to try the beta for a short time it worked about the same as the speed test but what I did notice with the beta was that it would start at 300kbs for about 20 seconds and then it would drop down to about 100 and stay there for the rest of the download the speed test just goes at about 100 from the start of the download I am useing aol instant messanger with a port open for file transfer and can get 250 to 300 kbs consistantly I really appricate all your help and am more than willing to help in any way that I can thanks

what's happening to you is very interesting, and you are very kind to be willing to help.
would you be available to test some testing versions i build for you may greatly help the project.
my main problem is that i don't have such fast upload speed, and can't test myself. this makes the whole thing very hard.
i may contact you to the email address you registered on the forum as soon as i have something to test.

are the people you are sending the files very far from you? (i would like to know the "ping" latency)

My friend lives about 7 miles away
His connection is about the same as mine
I can ping him at 36ms
He has the same isp as I do and about the same downlaod speeds
I have also noticed with 2.2speed test
The speed for manuvering around the site is faster
I am not useing a template because I thought it might slow things down

Try to install  a hfs at your friend, by using the same parameters as at  home, to see if speeds are the same

I had very slow downloads and then I updated to build 237 which has me back up to gigabit speeds on the LAN.

Thanks!
