How to upload large files with append?

I'm very intrigued that I can't find a quick answer nowhere :)
Is APPEND uploading possible with HTTP at all?
Your HFS just create new files fname(1), fname(2) etc...

If you mean "resume" by "append", then it is not possible with http.
Indeed, the browser will always send the whole file, no way.
