something like a messanger built in the website?

I am looking for something like a script or sth like that, which is easy to use, contains a box where you can type a message and post it and when you post it, it is visible to all the people, who visit the website. The Idea is that everyone can type anything at anytime that can be shown at the bottom of the webpage.
I looked through the google gadgets but found nothing.
Any ideas?

I don't think this is possible using HFS alone... but i have seen it done with flash on myspace...

myshoutbox is a php script i think.. so i dont think putting it in HSF is gonna make it run since HFS is an HTTP server, not a PHP server...

i have made quite a few website with shoutbox so i know. I even have those that doesnt need MySQL support.

Well, it is possible that u used an older version, because this one DOES NOT need php, mysqls and so on. That's why I put the second link - that's my hfs+myshoutbox on the right side of the site It works completely great as you can see I posted it cause I wasn't able to run the recommended from rejetto plugin

it doesn't require php just because it already runs on a php-enabled server.
you just "include" it inside HFS, but it runs there.

I have added one of these shoutbox's to my server now aswell, i made my own css stylesheet to suit my server too

Very cool, hopefully one day we will be able to achieve this using HFS alone !
