Just a note:

Those posts of mine above are older posts when I was experiencing problems with the DNS updater.  With v2.0 Beta 40 I can now say that the Dynamic DNS updater in HFS is working as advertised for my no-ip account.

i found some problem in the updater logic.
now i hope it has been fixed in beta41.
