Server Shutdown after X # of downloads

I would like to susgest something like the title imply's, after so many downlaods hfs will put it self in a offline mode. Id rather it not display a page saying max downloads reached, but rather it just turn itself off to save traffic. In a given day i get about 300 downloads (not page views) from my friends, in order to save some bandwidth i would like to shut it off at like 200 or so

Have you tried the following....

Menu -> Limits -> Max contemporary downloads -> then set it to 200 or whatever max amount you want? HFS won't shutdown, but no one will be able to download anymore files once that global limit is reached.

This should do it for you.

Sorry, I just re-read your post and you didn't want HFS to say download limit reached but just to go offline instead... can't be done at present. Rejetto will have to look at this and see if he can incorporate such a feature in an upcoming version.
