-Or- in the virtual file system window of HFS on the left, right click on the file you want to flag and select flag as new.  Either this method or the one shown above will solve your problem.

I have no in menu of this options. I have done all what have written. The Version of the program HFS2.0 beta23.
In menu there is "Files filter", "Folders filter", "Default file mask", "Don't count as downloud", but no "Flag as new" and else one options removing "Flag as new". Maybe is it bug?

The HFS version I am referring to is the same as your's v2.0 beta 23.  There is NO BUG.  I don't know what you mean with your reply above.
