www.rejetto.com/temp/hfs2.0beta20.zip

beta 20
+ %ip% symbol available in URL for links
* now the "folder kind" dialog stays on top until you answer
* "run it" has been renamed to "open it"
- solved memory wasting problem
- the file tip was showing wrong fields for links
- "get passworded url" was not working for user/pass
- "get passworded url" was not encoding user and password

A. right again... what was confusing me - was the incorrect display of the tooltip on HFS defined "links"
it was a bug, fixed in beta20
Quote
B. still if will be useful - for those who do not have domain names - to have a %ip% symbol to use inside link.
right

Great! thanks

FR: Would it be possible to add log file limitation?

- size limit (FIFO maybe?)
- some symbols to use with log file name, e.g. %date%.log - this would allow rotation of logs
- delete old logs after xxx days

Or is it already there?
The logfile can get very large over time, that's why I ask...  B)

Not only me, I think I'm not alone...
As for the options, why you don't hide 'advanced' settings by default? Advanced users had to enable 'expert options' to see all. This way, less experienced users would not be confused at first... I've seen many programs doing it this way.

edit: I looked through the options again and some of them could be hidden by default as the casual user does not need to change it...

OK lets start. Feel free to add/remove items to/from the list, at least it's only my 2 cents...

from Other options:
-Send HFS identifier
-Persistent connections
-Specific HTML for download managers
-MIME types (if you have good defaults)
-Compressed browsing
-Modal dialog for options

from Start/Exit:
-Find external address on startup

from Virtual File System
-List files with <system> attribute

from Limits:
(maybe the one causing trouble?)

from IP-Address:
-Custom...
-Don't include port in URL

from URL-encode:
-I would hide this section completely, no need with modern browsers...

OK that's it, at least for now.  B)

Hi!

And i think autoload last vfs and autosave settings should be default options if they are not now.

TGeRi

PS: if u have a "clean" hfs. You satart is. Make the vritual file system of yours and exit i think nothing asks for you if you want to save this. It is ok if you save vfs the with autoload and autosave it will be ok but not for the first time. I hope everyone can understand my problem.
