+ new real/virtual folder dialog
Nice! just one comment - when you click the top right
  • to cancel - it defaults to a  virtual folder...

In the new beta 10
I like the what you did with the dialogue.

"What kind of folder do you want?"

Can you add these two things.

Uploading is not allowed!

Is it possible to separate users info into a XML file?
if do that, there are some custom applications for third-party programs.
It's also better for transfering systems or backup.
please, explain, what is it for?

My member information is saved in MySQL database,
if the user info file is separated as xml file from hfs.exe,
I could update these by my other program easily.

A suggestion else,
is it possible to run HFS as WinNT service in background?
Let hfs.exe just be a client-side GUI shell only?
Its concept likes WarfFtpd service (a ftp service in Win32),
is better to run in server side.

Thanks for thinking these.  B)

nope, it defaults to real folder.
the reason is: real folder is fast to add, and can be switched to virtual at a later time

this is not possible, and has been already discussed on the forum

*dances the happy filesharing dance*

great, now obviously the first thing I want to check is file upload...I'd ask how it's done (dont see the button), but I think it has been discussed in this topic so I'll just do that

You missed the point. What I meant was - that the "bug" is that the [X] should function as a "cancel" button, if the user like to quit w/o doing anything... :?

Either my Italian is not so good and I don't understand what you mean  or I'm not explaining well enough... ;)
So let me try again. On my Win98 PC, when I do :
* add folder
* select the folder
* view the new dialog
* decide to do nothing
* press the top right
  • (or Alt-F4)

* and .... expect it to close w/o doing anything
the folder IS being created in HFS.

Is it a feature or a bug ? I think it should do nothing... :!:  :)
Maybe a Win98 related issue ?
