Hi, I'm with HFS 2.0beta23
and i discover a BUG:
<<Adding User with Pass>>
With my Opera v8.5: In http://HFS Server page/ -> LOGIN when i enter User and Pass everytime when i reopen http://HFS Server page/ with Opera shows my username instead Login Button and the program HFS show status user@ip (without reEnter user and pass in LOGIN) After  removing the user & pass and reopen http://HFS Server page/ with Opera
instead Login button again the same user and HFS still shows in status
the same user@ip why? There's no such a problem with Internet Explorer and a'm not sure for Firefox or other browsers.
[ :? sorry for my bad english :#) ]

I'm running HFS v2.0 beta 23 and Opera v8.50 build 7700 and no problems at all.  Everything works perfectly.

You said you aren't working on HFS - does that mean this is the end to HFS once beta 24 is released???
no, not working at this time
i'm busy with my exams and job
but since HFS will be my thesis (for graduation) i will restart working on it for sure, if not now in next months

this is not a bug :)
as you can see, opera resend the user/pass, why should HFS reject it?
the fact is: opera remembers your user until you close it. to close the tab is not enough.
i'm an opera user and i already knew this.
there is no way for HFS to know you closed the tab in the while.

i really hope that work can continue soon. especially making it static root. it makes it very difficult to use images on at the moment.

YES because the user (with pass) already was removed from Users List
and HFS still RECOGNIZE this user@ip (which i've removed from the list)

When you remove a user and password from your user list, are you applying the change?  If not do so.  Doesn't hurt to resave you virtual file system from time to time as well to save all new changes.

All the problems you seem to have do not happen here and I am an Opera user as well.

Hello, I've just downloaded the Beta and am giving it a try.  I noticed the following issues that may be considered bugs.

1). From the Menu option select Other Options -> Users.  You'll notice there are a couple of Tabs at the top of this screen "Bans" and "Tray Messages".  The "Users" tab is missing, so if you select one of these, you can never get back to the users screen.

2). In 1.6a, I would create a user from the "Other Options -> Users" menu and then I could "Set Access For Users".  In this beta, I do not see that option (not that it even worked correctly before as I believe it kept forgetting this when the program was shut down and restarted).

Thank you for such a nice program and all your hard work!

As per my previous post, I see these are actually available while in Expert mode and not in Easy mode.  So, these are not issues.

First of all I must say you're doing a great job with the HFS server! :D

My "problem" is this (I run HFS v2.0 Beta23 build #008):

I have made a new HTML template as "index page" and I load template pictures from folders listed in the server.
Since I dont want these pictures to be counted as "hits" I tried to chose "Dont count as download..." from the menu. I get the filemask box and enter *.jpg;*.gif  but the program wont accept it.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

I have this error and it isn't the first time I encountered one.

Anyone can tell me how to resolve this problem?

First of all you posted all of that in the wrong section.  It should go here -> http://www.rejetto.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2309&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=

Secondly, it's a bug that hasn't been fixed yet.

Hey rejetto,
maybe I got a point there, which could be improved an updated by you.
It goes like this: Everytime I share files with my friends, I wish HFS would have a feature, where you can set those upload speeds/limits, for each file you upload. And if this file is finished, the rest of the speed, which is now free, will be moved to the other files in same parts. That would be a nice and helpful feature, I guess ...

In this sense,
