1. click on the green text and the right click
A small bug here  - you remembered not to include the port # in the address, you forgot not to include the username (user@11.22.33.44) when someone logs in with user/password

I also suggest that in the new dialog box - intrended for the comment - you also add a field showing the IP - so the user can  correct/change  it

Using beta 1, in the connections window, when i kick a connection or one closes, the line is blank but it never goes away.  really annoying to have to scroll to get to the active connections.

well, rejetto tried...

WikipediA can tell you too-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modal_window

Looks like we need an encyclopedia to understand HFS... ;)

BTW - why don't you register?

If you click "No Tray icon for file extension...", nothing happens.
Am I missing something?  :?: (2.0 beta1)

the changelog says
Quote from: "What's new"
* "No tray icon for file extentions" has been removed because obsolete
so the error is: i forgot to remove the menu command.
it will be removed in the next release.

"Don't count as download" in the file menu does the same, and is much more powerful, because it works with filemasks and you can set it at different depth level in the VFS.

it does not make sense. the ban feature does not work with ports.

Hello,

Is it possible to make a option how many lines you want on a page... If there more lines then make a page 2....

I have now 1 page with 200 lines, I prefer 4 pages with 50 lines....

Maybe in the future...???

Dwarrel
-link removed-

DO NOT CLICK ON DWARREL's URL!!!!
It takes you to a website that installs a ADDWARE Trojan to your
system dirrectory called (mjaxczh.exe)

To get it off your system just hit control alt and delete and disable
the running file so windows will let you delete it from your system
dirrectory...

Dwarrel your a real JACKASS!!

I see that there are a lot of ad scripts in the page... Maybe the malware is hidden in the script?

Using WinXP Pro SP1,  it just happens by default I dont really 'do' anything.

Could it be that it is using the 1.6a config files? All I did was replace the main 1.6a .exe with the 2.0 beta1 .exe

Thanks for the quick reply rejetto! HFS is a great program with lots of features, sometimes you miss a new option, like me...

Now to my questions:  ;)

1. Would it be possible to add a startup delay before HFS tries to start the server? Sometimes my network drivers/firewall initializes too slow so HFS program starts but not the server (OFF). Currently I'm using a batch file but adding this option to the program would be the the better way.

2. I'm using the "Flag files added recently..." feature but having a problem. For files and real folders, it works great. All files/folders show up with correct date/time of modification. But virtual folders always get the current date/time  at startup of HFS and are re-flagged as new after every reboot. Would it be possible to just use date/time of adding them to the VFS? Or, the possibility to disable the feature for (virtual) folders entirely? I'm on NTFS if that helps.

Thanks in advance, MarkV B)

I agree with MarkV.  It would be nice if you could somehow omit the new flag on virtual folders on HFS startup.  It affects virtual sub-folders as well. If a new file is added to a virtual folder then the new flag should appear for the folder.  Makes sense.

It's kind of misleading to the user when they open one of those folders marked new to find older dated files inside.

Me again, I installed beta 2 and deleted the ini file,  reset all my settings, and it seems to work ok now :)  Thanks for the prompt reply earlier,  over 40 gigs served up without a problem so far!
