Browser delete file

I've spent some time searching and may have missed the answer.  I'm using 2.2f build 155.  Doesn't browser connection allow deletion of files?  Last time I used HFS, about a year ago seems I remember a template that would allow additon of folders and deletion of files.  Seems it was set in the 'User' setup to allow deletes.  Am I missing the option? 

Forgot to mention that I'm just not seeing any provision to delete files in the brower or add folder.

you have to give permission to delete files/folders.
go to the HFS side and right click what you intend to work with.

Ok, I got hfs side, right click the folder for which to allow deletes.  I can set user/pass and I see restrict access but not seeing allow deletions.

i'm sorry, i forgot file deletion is available only in 2.3
