Download speed (slow and random)

Hi, i'm an Italian boy, i'm sorry for my bad english, i have tried to read all the faq's and the topics of forum.

I really appreciate HFS, is very good program but i have a problem with the download file with my ps3:

My situation is: Hag Fastewb fibra connected at dlink switch, pc connected at switch, and ps3 connected ad dlink switch via ethernet cable (no wi-fi).

The problem is the download speed start to 300kb/s and go to 8000kb/s and go to 30kb/s seems random!

I have a 100mbit switch, my Network Interface Card is 100mbit capable, in theory i will go 10000 kb/s but i don't know why the speed goes from 300 kb/s and 3000kb/s in often cases.

Can you help me please?

ps:I have try 2.2f version and the last beta but the problem persist

2. so, you are downloading to your PS3 files hosted on HFS running on your PC, right?

3. can you give a try with a different web server and see if you have the same problem?
by trying another program you can understand if your problem is "inside" hfs, or it's up to something else.

Thank you for the reply, yes you understand the situation, this night i will try (now i'm at work) with another software and compare the results, i know there is a italian forum but i will post here for  the visibility of the topic.
