Connection failed

Hello everyone!

I'm using HFS 2.2f without a firewall. I'm behind a router, and I set it to forward port 31029, which I also set up in HFS. Various port checking sites report that the port is open, and HFS's self-test also passes (even if I don't forward the port with the router).

The only problem is: If I try to access http : / / 97.28.73.100:31029/ through firefox (IP adress slightly changed, the : / / without the spaces), I get an error saying that the website seems to be valid, but a connection couldn't be established. HFS is running, of course. If I click "Open in browser" in HFS, it works, but that's because it uses http : / / localhost:31029/ as the adress.

Can somebody please help me?

if HFS selftest is ok, your friends can go to your page with the address you specidfied (97.28....) - this is your external IP to access your server form internet. Behind the router you have to use your local ip (192.168....) or localhost(only on the PC where the server runs!) to access your server.
So, in your case everithing seems to work fine.
