The faq (and several posts in the forum tell how to get hfs to start with Windows. From faq:

"How do I make HFS startup every time I start Windows?

To make HFS startup every time Windows starts, simply create a shortcut to HFS within Programs→Startup in the Windows Start menu. (It might be easier to open the Start menu by right-clicking it and then clicking Explore.)"

This only starts hfs when you log in to the account associated with the Start menu you did this too. For instance, under WinXP, a reboot and no login will not have hfs running *until* you log in. So the faq should be modified to read "How do I make HFS startup every time I log in to Windows?" Otherwise people might think hfs is running after a reboot only.

thank you for reporting.
i just removed that question since it was made when HFS had no facility about the startup.
No question => no wrong answer. :)

rejetto, the menu option Menu-Start/Exit-Run HFS when Windows starts also contains that string. Maybe Run HFS on user login?

I think there are noob users, who don't truly understand the difference between windows start and user login, and may understand better the former form; and expert users, who easily will handle the ambiguity.

I agree with MarkV. I think introducing ambiguity just confuses everyone. It took me a couple of reboots to realize hfs was not really starting at Windows boot.

PS: Thanks for creating hfs. Quite handy indeed.
