First of all just wanted to say what a great tool HFS is.

I have been using it for a while but have come across a problem recently which I can't find a solution for.

I have shared a normal folder available via HFS which has a file in it which is 3.4 GB big.  However when I attempt to download this file via a Firefox browser it all works fine and the file downloads, however when I do exactly the same thing in IE the file download box appears immeadiately and says "Download Complete" downloaded 0 bytes in 1 sec.  My IE version is 6.0.2900 sp2.  Below are the two extracts from the log with all logging options selected.  The first log is the IE download and the second is the Firefox download.  I did cancel the firefox download after about 15 seconds as you can see it had started downloading.  The IE session gets disconnected after a minute.  I have had many other people with various other desktops/notebooks try and download the file via IE across the LAN but they don't have any luck either.  If they try firefox it works no problem so it is not a machine specific problem.  I have tested both builds 88 and 106 and I get same problem on both.

Any help would be great :)

Just wanted to add another note that if I attempt to download a smaller file via IE (e.g. a few MB big) from the same folder, the download completes successfully.

Maybe it has something to do with the filesize.  Internet Explorer has a 2GB size limitation.

Yeah like maverick said, IE has a 2GiB limitation, you can't download anything >2GiB with IE.

Firefox' 1.5 limit is 4GiB(-2Byte) and Firefox 2.0 has no limit anymore (I tested with a 10GiB file and all OK).
