I have set the "No download" feature on the "Upload" folder...
Could I assign a user (me) to download the "Upload" folder files?

No.  The "no download" feature is set for that folder and it applies to everyone.  However, allowing admin download access might be a good option.  If rejetto reads this thread, maybe he should consider it.

There might be a way. At least it works for me.
If your upload folder is a real folder, drag it to the vfs again. In other words
add it a second time. You'll get a message asking if your sure, because its already
there. If you say OK, or Yes (don't remember which) it will add upload (1).
You may then set upload (1) to download, with a password, etc. When someone
uploads a file to "upload" it will also show in upload (1) since they are really the
same. I mark it as hidden, and put a link to it somewhere only I have access to.
This may not be expected behavior for hfs, but as I said, it works for me.

You are right!  Just tested it.  I don't think that was the expected behavior and some might even consider it a bug.  But, it works and is a feature that I would have requested as my previous post in this thread indicates.  I just renamed the second upload folder to distinguish it from the original with access and visability only to me.  Both folders point to the same location so the same files are visable.

Thanks for mentioning it. :)

Anyway would be better a list of users for the "No download" option (like "Upload" or "Restrict access")

Rights management needs to be consistent, ATM some of the global options aren't flexible enough. "No download" is a good example.

it is "my" expected behaviour.

adding a feature such as this is often easy, the problem is to keep it simple. :(
maybe HFS 3 will see a rethinking of the rights mngmnt.
