Static IP from ISP

I was wondering if you people know how to get a static I.P. from your ISP. it is really annoying that your I.P. changes and my friends can't visit my web server because they don't have my new I.P.  Any help would be appreciated.

You will not get it for free. BUT - you can get for yourself a free domain name set always to your changing IP - for example at http://www.dyndns.com/services/dns/dyndns/
