Pulic links
It would be very useful to be able to send and receive files without the need of creating a user account and password for one-time users. But it must be safe.
I suggest a feature where pulic links can be created. Copy & paste in to an email and send to the user. User clicks on the link that could look like example below:
xxxxx//hfs_server/xx=linkdata-id=87489923848074153hjdsj443hjlk8013
The link should not display the actual file path and filename. It should be random as in the link example.
When the user clicks on the link it should be translated to the connected download or upload directory for the link.
The user continues to click on the actual file(s) to download.
If an expiration date can be set for a link, even better. The link should be automatically disabled after this date.
It should be an option to password protect a public link.
