Bandwith abuse issue

In the past I had setup a web server but people just keep eating bandwith using DDOS(?) on my server.
Just want to ask if HFS can somehow protect bandwith wasting/abuse?
I want to share a lot of things to the world. Please help me!

it depends.
you may try to protect all your website (by protecting the home).
