I keep getting this error...

Using HFS - Ver. 2.2f - Build #155

It Crashes the HFS program and causes it to get stuck in an endless loop of Winsock Error Messages that keep popping up and will not close.  I usually have to reboot the computer to clear the memory and often times it causes the Windows XP Pro SP3 operating system to Crash and Perform a Physical Memory Dump.

The Error occurs on two different computers at my house which leads me to believe that it may be a Software Problem and not the specific Hardware.

I was curious if someone might be hacking my HFS File Servers?

I've not had any of the problems you relate. I do have XP Pro, but have never used 2.2f.
I'd suggest trying a recent 2.3 beta. Its very stable here, and it has many
additional useful features.

i didn't reply yet because i have truly no idea on what's going on with your HFS.
does something similar happen with other softwares too?
also see if 2.3 brings the same problem.
