Hi guys,

I wonder if you can help me. I have been trying for days to connect to my files using HFT software and can’t get anywhere. I can connect local ok but that’s where it ends. I have read through various post and as far as I can tell I'm doing everything correct.

I run the self test and all is ok. I have used various ports, 6881, 9002, 6668 and still can’t connect. My Eset/firewall antivirus aint blocking it, I even tried with if off altogether.
I’ve tried using 90.***.40.123:9002 address and my DNS Server http://********.dnsdojo.net and nothing(Connection to server cannot be established). I know my DNS is working as I can log onto my router through the internet ok on the same pc and had used it before for CCTV camera on a different port and DNS address..

Really starting to wear me down now, I need help here big time guys.

Here are some screenshots just to show as it might help.

Cheers

Its ok guys, got it sorted.

Eset firewall must have been blocking as uninstalled the whole package and went to another pc and connected first time. Strange as Eset didnt even notify that it was trying to connect and nothing in the security log even on interactive mode. So uninstalled Eset and just installed the Antivirus and Antispy part off the programme and installed Sygate Firewall and set it to let the HTF Software connect.
I'm in for the night but will get the Brother in law to connect remotely later on and hopefully it will work ok.

Cheers

i have outpost firewall and hfs dont work until i use serv-u first, this last pass the firewall (the firewall ask me if serv-u can do it and i say YES)

after that i close serv-u and all ok with HFS he works very well....

hfs alone dont cross my firewall, and deconnecting the firewall, dont work anyway, may be is a router configuration pb....

it was my solution... i post here just in case

ab imo pectore
