Hi folks,
Looks like a GREAT program. I'm just having a little trouble getting it started. I got the router configured properly with port #17019 forwarded successfully. I added a zip flie to the vfs. I sent an email with the address copied from the clip board. The user was unable to access the page. "Page not found". The user is on my LAN, could that be the problem?
Thanks for any help.
George

UPDATE.

I currently have the real folders "uploads" and HFSdownloads in the vfs. I have been to canyouseeme.org, put in the correct port # and that test was successful. Re-ran the self test successfully even saw the bandwith spike.

And yet, I still get page not found even using //localhost/

Anyone please.
Thanks in advance
George

NEW UPDATE,

I'm sloooowly getting this worked out. I was finally able to access the page using //localhost:port I forgot the port before. However I still can't bring it up using the ip:port. Is this because I'm on this side of my router??? If so if I change the ip:port to localip:port should that work?
Lastly, would someone try to access this from the depths of the underworld.

Thanks
George

If you want to give access to someone in your LAN, you must not use your external/router address.
The router configuration is needed for access over the internet.
Also the "self test" is about working over the internet, you don't need it in LAN.
In LAN you must use local address. The address starting with 70 is not your local address. A local address begins with 192 or 10.
"localhost" works only on your computer, not in the LAN.
