Sorry forgot about my unfinished post when i got home just before.
I understand your post as you do not want anyone to see your ip adress.
there is ways to mask your ip address such as registering at dyndns but all that does is gives your ip adress an alias so that it is easier for you to remember. The computer uses the adress to find your ip and then makes all the conections using your ip. So you can use dyndns or some other service to mask your ip but if someone wants to find your ip they can easily.
Edit:I was thinking about your idea of routing through a proxie and I couldnt think of any ways of doing this through the internet(Locally its possible with the port forwarding on a router) because ultimatly everything will point to the ip of the server.
