There is a option in Virtual File System > Auto Save and also in Save Options > Auto Save?
I set 300s in 1st option and when i looked in Save Options and theoption there was disabled. I understand that the 1st option is independ of the 2nd. Why are there two options?

yes, one is for the file system, one is for the options.
options are all other settings that are not in the file system.

Do you think it would make things a little clearer changing 'Save Options' toolbar button to 'Save Settings' or 'Save HFS Settings'?
Might be just my personal preference i suppose.

I would rather a 'Save Settings' single save, that saves EVERYTHING, the VFS, the options, all of it to file. it gets a little annoying when u save options close HFS and realise you forgot to save your updated VFS aswell >_<.

I say the best idea is to have a toolbar 'Quick Save' icon, AND options inside the menu where in here you can specify if you want to save to file or to registry, auto-save on exit that sorta thing. Save to file has always been my favourite save.

noop on http what so ever.. but why cant there be a option (that should be default) that the filesystem is saved everytime it is changed, like a normal ftp server?

since the filesystem has counters in it, it should be saved every time a file is downloaded.
is a problem to use the "auto save every..." option ?
