Hi!
I found a bug in VFS.
I use "add folder from ..." to create a virtual-folder, and specify a network neighbor link
like "\\address\SharedFolderX" to connect the virtual-folder to a remote PC named PCX.
The HFS works fine and allows people to access files at PCX correctly.
However, if the administrator of the PCX adds some folders to the SharedFolderX someday,
the HFS can not see the changes!
Currently, all I do is delete the virtual-folder and recreate the same one with the same way
again to make HFS know the changes.
Although the HFS can scan the VFS at start-up, it does not seem that it will scan the current
directory content technologically known by the folder ".".
For example, I have the SharedFolerX at PCX and the SharedFolderX has three folders A, B,
and C. When the a virtual-folder connected to the SharedFolderX is created at the HFS,
the HFS know the SharedFolderX to have folders A, B, and C. Someday, I add a folder D
to the SharedFolderX at PCX (not through the HFS or upload function). The HFS does not
know the existing of the folder D even restarted!
Would you please to solve the bug in the next HFS version and add a option to specify
the adjustable period of re-scaning VFS folders?
Thank you!
I really love HFS! No one is better than the tiny but useful, powerful tool!
