Creating folders using HFS

Hi,

We (group of supermotard/enduro riders B) ) are all more or less computer illiterates :#) and are using HFS to upload photographs, tracks, roadbooks and stories to our "server". So far working great but would like to be able to create "real" folders on the server from remote location. E.g. after a ride someone can create a folder with the name of the ride and upload his stuff. Can this be created or is it already being created??
As told before would be of great help to our "administrator" who has to sort out the "inbox" we use right now, we are using HFS above other servers because of it's simplicity in use which make it suitable for us computer illiterates

Hello Kaitey,

this feature was being descussed here somewhere in 2004, I don't remember what was the result of the discussion. But as I can see, it is not possible.

Ahhh, yes i found it on the to-do list:

Quote

+ remote file deletion
+ folder creation (with upload rights) <<<-

But maybe you can make it easier for the admin to manage if you also upload text-files in which you describe which files belong together and to what tour.

BTW: I also missed this feature, but rejetto seems to have a lot of stress in the "real life" at the moment, his last posting was Jan 19th... So don't put additional pressure on him

Thanks Martok, íf it's at the to-do-list it will be done some day right?

By the way, no intend to put stress on anyone :roll: , know a lot about stress in daily live, need the bike quite regularly to prevent mental burn out :twisted:
