I have HFS up and a buddy of mine is trying to access it from Filezilla instead of the IP. He enters the Username password and types in the ip and port number but it just hangs there.....any ideas?

FileZilla is made to work with a FTP server, not a HTTP server. FileZilla will not work with HFS. You may use almost any Download Manager instead.

if you want to use http website with ftp filezilla, you have to use "RAYBOB" modification :

http://www.rejetto.com/forum/fhfs/version-2-0-0-release-download/msg1059909/#msg1059909

or download filezillas serve and run it separately...

YOU WILL STILL NEED TO PPEN FTP PORTS! (21 for FTP)

With the move to hfs 3.0 and github. I'm using Unraid and HFS 3 as a docker. Any File Mentioned is now removed from my google drive.
