hey guys i am running a network of 120 users ... when 20 or more then 20 lan connections access my entertainment portal (running on HFS) transfer rate drops to 1MB/Sec ...
is there any way to increase the transfer rate ?
total data which i have hosted on HFS is 3.5TB

Hi,

Think your internet connection is the bottle-neck, what are your up- and download limits??

Well you said you're being limited to 20 MB per second, that's still enough to overload a 100Mb network so unless you have a gigabit LAN that could be a problem.

But yes it is known that HFS doesn't run infinitely fast. Not that 1MB/s should be a problem...

No solution for now.
