router & port problems / After portfowarding I cannot access my Router Control Panel

Does anyone know how to fix this?
I went into my routers control panel and port forwarded port 80, instead of showing the control panel it would show all files on the server, after removing and doing a router restart to change my IP, it now says "The connection has timed out" when I type in my ip to access the control panel.
