...but I still haven't found what I'm looking for...

Is there perhaps a link to an easy implementable peace of code, please? (Unfortunately, I'm no software developer.)

BTW: As I see, there seems to be a lot of interest in this topic...

I have many users which use "my" hfs for 1-4 years each. How can I avoid to create and administer an account for any user manually?

    • create user
    • give a password
    • add the user(s) to groups
    • upload files to any user of a special group
    • download files from any user of a special group
    • delete forgotten passwords and give a new one
    • delete user account
    • delete old files of an (former) user
    • delete old files by wildcard (i. e. *.exe)
    • ...

Is there a solution for creating an user account by the user themselve?

Or is it possible to import a whole lists (txt, csv, Excel, ...) of users or delete users by batch or so?

Any help is welcome (I use the current release 2.3 beta 260).

anyone testing?

Tested with IE 8, Firefox 3.6.3, Google Chrome 5.0.375.55, and it's ok.

Thank you very much for resolving the problem.

Thanks for the tipp, but F5 is ok for the moment, because I don't like to miss the pageIt() feature.

Does anyone know, when the next release (with fix) will be available?

Bug reports / Not all folders are visible at first connection

When someone accesses HFS at the first time with firefox or IE, he didn't see all of the folders (only the first ones). When he presses<F5> or <Strg-r>, then all real folders are visible.

How can I avoid this behaviour?

2.3 beta Build #260

Bug reports / Message: You cannot select this item
« on: May 18, 2010, 06:47:02 PM »
When I access a folder, I get for a few milliseconds the message at the upper left side of the page
"You cannot select this item"

See the screenshot, please:

When I access a folder in a network, sometimes this message stays visible and I get no access (even when I try again). When I log in (under the same account) from an other computer, I get access.

What can I do to avoid this behaviour? (I use 2.3 beta build #260)

Bug reports / Re: Max simultaneous downloads of a single file.
« on: May 17, 2010, 06:30:53 AM »
I would like to download a huge file (160 MB) in an Intranet from 20 computers at the same time. Which limits do I have to adjust? (It doesn't matter if the download gets slower for all clients.)

I want to prevent the message "Download limit
There is a limit on the number of simultaneous downloads in this server. This limit has been reached. Retry later."

Thanks.
