HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Android Browser issue??
« on: June 22, 2010, 04:38:42 PM »
Thanks for the reply ;D
Here is the log. Also I have the latest browser included in the FRF50 build of froyo. Basically the log is kind of misleading because I'm actually not gaining access from the phone. When I press login its as if I just hit the refresh button. The screen cycles and returns to to same screen.

Yeah it definitely has something to do with the login process. For a test I disabled my password and I was able to access the server download files with no issue.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Android Browser issue??
« on: June 16, 2010, 05:26:07 PM »
What's up guys I posted this question a long time ago but because of some personal matters I've been away. Anyhow, I've got a Nexus One that can not seem to access my HFS server. After reading my logs I discovered the device does not appear to be logging in. Even though on the phone I am entering in my user/pass the server acts like I have not and sends me back to the original login screen. Weird huh?? Especially since I can access any and all other websites without issue. I even have flash on this thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry for my late reply, and thanks for responding.

I'm using 2.1 on my nexus one.

Also, I realize this is probably a limit of my phone's browser and not HFS. Another post said Android doesn't allow for logins then downloads, or something like that. Sound familur?

Still what ever help and advice you give is appreciated.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Android browser issue??
« on: March 30, 2010, 04:11:13 PM »
What's up everyone, I'm new to HFS and this is my first post.

I've got HFS running my server and everything is great. My only problem is accessing my server from my android phones. Android phones use a version of webkit for their stock browser.

For some reason I  can connect to my server, and even login but the screen stays the same after that. And so it never even gets to the files. Its as if it didn't take my password,  but it doesn't give me a bad password error. Just nothing.

Anyone seen this before? Know a solution?
