Thanx you guys!

Suggestions:  For the plain server it should read something like : http://140.163.1.1  (Because it is on an intranet,  it will automatically take the person to the home page)  And for the folder in which the program lies,  it should read like this : http://getdc.ath.cx

That is what I want,  is it possible at all to get these unique different addresses to direct the people to the same HFS server?  Sorry if I'm not making sense.

Thanks again for all the help guys!

Okey,   I know the subject is vague,  and I will try to explain my problem as good as possible,  so please bare with me.

I have my HFS set up perfectly.  I'm on a network,  and I share an Install File of a program that is very readily used.  I want people to type in, in the Address bar of their explorer for instance "http://getprogram.blah.blah" and then it must take them directly to the shared folder with the install file.  BUT,  I don't want this to be the default folder to be taken to if people want to access other folders on my server.  So if they type in my hfs server address as they would normally,  they must still go to the "Home Page".  But seeing that there are a whole bunch of noobs on my network (they're even worse than me  :D ) I want that install file to be accessible to them if they type in that unique address.

Is this possible?

Attached is pic of what is happening on User page if i add your script...

Script looks like this:

[login-link]
<a href="~login" class=button><img src="/~img27" />Teken Aan</a>

[loggedin]
<span class=button><img src="/~img27" /> Gebruiker : %user%</span>
{.append|loggedin.txt|
%user% connected at %time%.}

[upload-link]
<a href="~upload" class=button><img src="/~img32" /> Laai op</a>

(Sorry for the native Language, I'm South African, and it's my mothertongue, so just ignore? Where exactly should I replace the script with the one you just provided? And seeing that I haven't done it yet, is it possible for me to trace back even now to see who did what when?

Sorry for the inconvenience, I'm just in a bit of a jam...

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Seeing a list of previous accounts accessed
« on: October 29, 2009, 07:30:43 PM »
Sorry for this question, but I would like to know if it is possible to see which account names have Logged in how many times on my server, or if I can get a date and when a specific account was connected to the server? I have suspicion of foul play on my server, and want to find the culprit who stole another person's account.  I have a IP adres, but I want to find out which account connected from that specific IP adres? Anyone with help will be very much appreciated!

Please, this is urgent!

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I want my HFS server to start automatically every time windows loads. The program itself launches, but I have to manually then start my server. Is there anyway I can configure this to start automatically as well? I have looked everywhere, and maybe I'm overseeing something. So sorry if that is true...

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Uploading/Donwloading Whole folder at once

Thank you SO SO much! I saw that my files were "archivable" and that there is that option, but didn't know exactly how to work with it. I thank you sincerely!

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Uploading/Donwloading Whole folder at once
« on: September 01, 2009, 08:08:38 PM »
I'm really sorry if this post makes a few people angry, I'm really new at this stuff, and really scared I break something. I would just like to know if there is a way that when a user, with a user account wants to upload a Whole folder at once (for example a collection of ebooks), if it's possible? I created a folder to where my users can upload, but they can only upload files, not folders. Is it in anyway possible that I can configure my Server in order for them to upload more than a file at a time? Furthermore I would like to know if it is possible that when I host a folder, if it is possible for a user to download that whole folder at once, instead of a single file at a time?
Please note that I haven't had any programming lessons or nothing, so you are really dealing with a noob here.

Any help will be VERY MUCH appreciated.
