to disable the archive feature, click on your folder(s) in hfs and open the properties. There, in Flags, deactivate archivable for the folders where you don't want people downloading the whole folder.

Awesome, I'd dug around, but didn't think to look at folders themselves.  Thanks!

I had very slow downloads and then I updated to build 237 which has me back up to gigabit speeds on the LAN.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Can the feature be disabled?

Hello,

While a great feature, I need to disable it as I am sharing out about 500 very large media files with some co-workers and I have the downloads limited to one concurrent per IP address.  If they can simply zip the entire folder structure at once, that kills things for me.

Other than changing to a different template, can you tell me what I'd need to do to disable the function?

Thanks for the great app:  I just donated 5 Euros from my other email account.  The app is worth more for sure, but it's what I can do for now.
