1) I should have said directory,http://localhost#/filename/, when I said page, my fault for the confusion.
When I try to view that even when it says test were completed successful?
2)should my ip addy be set to the external ip or the ip within the network?

when I go to the self test it says fine so i use that address that is says is successful  but it gives me a page with some grey and blue bars with a language select at the bottom , I tried selecting a lang, but that cares me to a completely blank page.

what should the Ip address option be set on for other people  outside my network to be able to dl the file.

What I am doing is using the ftp server as a redirected download for a game server.

Maybe I should word different.

I need to redirect the down load for my game server and I am haveing complications with it, has any had any experience in this area?

also which one should not be changed to the external Ip? the ip address or the accept connections option?

edit: I can dl on my own net work but even if I try the external others can't get to it?
