HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Change File Assignment

Hi all,

Sorry its little off topic but maybe some of oyu guys have an idead for that. I am using HFS mostly as a drawing database the extension can be .gif, .jpg or .tif. As the broweser has a built in viewer for .gif and .jpg these files are opened dircetly in the browser. The Problem is i can't rotate / zoom or anything else. So is there any posibility to open all image files with one before defined programm like XnView?

For the .tif files the browser ask open or save them so its fine i can open them directly in the windows defined programm, should be same with .gif and .jpg files. Thanks adavnce for every help.

Hi all,

I have some question. I think you all know these formmailer php/perl scripts where you define some fields so the peoble can fill out and the content will be sent to a specified e-mail address.

So my question is if something like this is possible on HFS? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi folks,

Is it possible do able the archive folder download just for special user's? Now i am using the Clean HFS Template and i added this to make it work

the problem is that every user can make a download of the folder now wheter if i make the folder archivable in HFS or not. If it's not possible for the user's maybe its possible to make the .tar archive password protected?

Hi Maverick,

first thanks for the tip on the search system. I created my search engine already. Now i want to make a search folder as you did in HFS. But i don't know how you did it that it is opening the search page by clicking on the search folder. Maybe you can tell me how to do it. Thank you very much.
