I think it has to download first to your machine and then ran from your computer if you are using HFS. If it's all internal to your network, you could map a drive to the share.

Never mind...thanks to Pit:

"Menu -> Virtual File System -> Flag added files recently. There you wrote the minutes that the files will be flagged as new"

My template doesn't seem to show the "new" indicator on the web form next to files I recently added to the server.  What actually controls this? How can I fix it, please?
