I've just completed another round of security inspection and didn't find anything big.

i suggest you to install codex and ask it to find security bugs by also making a script to verify it's real and not just theory

guys, i've spent 2 hours trying to get emails working again on this forum, but to no avail.
now the it sends emails but they are empty.
things have changed both on my hosting service and on gmail (i used before, to send).
if someone needs an account, you can write to me a@rejetto.com and i'll make one with a temporary password that you can change later.
this seems to be the only way that won't open the doors to the spam bots.
that's it for the time being.

I think Mars' idea of restricting "exec" is good.
It's a pity I didn't have it at the time
I don't like the idea of having a specific folder, tho. I would rather have a way to configure what commands are allowed, so that the user must manually enable them.

that's great, congratulations with your achievement, Leo!
i cannot say anything about effectiveness of this fix, but i'm happy if you can find a solution.
Is the url the only way to use the vulnerability? Even if the POC of the CVE uses the url, be sure to consider the possibility of the attack coming from a header.
you prefer 2.3 over 2.4 ?

i think the email is not working again.
my provider interrupts the service because a lot of emails fails, because of spammers who register on the forum with invalid addresses.
i think "questions" don't work because i installed the "stop spammer" plugin.

so hfs is using ?stunnel ? lets encrypt ?or something else on the host system?

sorry for the late reply. email notifications on this forum are no longer working, i don't know why. consider posting on the "new" forum instead, linked on the website.

no stunnel, https is "natively" supported.
hfs uses let's encrypt to generate the certificate (if you don't have one), but you don't need to know that.

NAT means that you have a system in front of you (like a router).
The request don't reach you directly, but the router.
If you can configure that router to forward the requests to you, then you can solve your problem, otherwise not.
As you can see, HFS detected not 1 but 2 NATs.
It is probable that you can configure the first one and not the second.
Some providers prevent you from getting requests, and thus run "servers".
You have to ask your internet provider about it.
Did you click "verify" ?

hfs non ha problemi col NAT, ma se il tuo modem/router non ti permette di forwardare le porte sei fregato, nessun server potrà funzionare.

ho dovuto aspettare per risponderti perché dovevo fare delle modifiche.
con la 0.53.0 a partire dalla alpha5 puoi usare questo style per nascondere quello che dicevamo.

farlo con la 0.52 è possibile ma più complicato

HFS 3 has improved compatibility with older browsers in version 0.53 but it's still in alpha.
I suggest you to give it a try.

considera che non c'è un modo "sicuro" con HFS per impedire il download mentre puoi ascoltare.
quello che puoi fare è nascondere i bottoni/link per fare scaricare.
