Title: Start HFS on Boot?
Post by: tji on March 13, 2011, 06:30:56 PM
I found the option to "Run HFS On Windows Start" in the menu, and I enabled that.

But, when I rebooted the machine, HFS did not start until I logged in to the system.

I would like to get HFS to run immediately on system boot, so that it is always available even if I'm not there and the power goes off/on, or Windows update forces a reboot.

The system I am using in a Windows Server 2003 machine, if that makes any difference.

Any tips for making hfs.exe start on server boot rather than user login?

the menu item is intentionally wrong, just because i didn't find a better way to say it.

only services run before the user logs on, and HFS is not a service. You may force this thing by reading the topics mars suggested.

the other way is to tell Windows to automatically log a user in at start.
