Title: Making HFS behave more like a FTP?
Post by: Camo Yoshi on February 07, 2011, 11:18:34 PM
Hello there!

I really love HFS, as I've been using it to give a few friends some file hosting space.

However I have to manually rename and delete files and folders for them. Does HFS support anything like this?

I'm running HFS 2.2f now. Is there a beta I can use that supports what I'd like to do?

I'd also like to limit the maximum upload size to about 5-10MB (my server calls it quits, as I found out the hard way today, if I try to upload larger files. O_o')

I'm also wondering if maybe you could add the ability for users to change their own password?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!  :D

You'll find rename, delete, create folder and change password possible with 2.3 beta.
Don't know about limiting max upload size. Might be possible with a special macro.
You might want to search forum for more info.
