Hi all I am new here and looking for some help, I have run a search but could not find anything of relevance but I am sure someone here can ether point me at an existing post or give me an answer. Thanks in advance.
My question is: What is the maximum number of clients that can connect to HFS on windows 7 Professional?
:)

there's no known limit.
HFS is not very optimized on performances, but i think you may handle few hundreds.

Brilliant that’s great. So dose that mean the Windows connections limitation of 10 connections is not relevant because all the traffic is through one port? :)

i never heard of this limit before.
if it's related to folders sharing or remote desktop, that's nothing about HFS.
if it's this one (http://www.techtalkz.com/tips-n-tricks/117377-how-remove-10-concurrent-tcp-connection-limit-windows-xp-sp2.html), or anything similar, i must warn you that HFS won't overcome any limit set by the operating system, but i can read from that page that the limit is about opening 10 connections per second, not 10 as a total.
