Hi,
i have been using HFS for quite some time. and use the TOG template,
i have a quite a few files in my server that have asian name, which i am unable to view or download from my server, is there a fix for this?
please help thanks
-
does it work if you try the default template?
-
nope, i tried all the templates....default, live TOG....
just in case u are wondering the language is Japanese, and the HFS hosted OS is windows 7 64 bit, which can read the japanese language named files...

please drag&drop one of those unreadable files in the "virtual file system" pane of HFS, and post a screenshot of it.

as i supposed.
those files have a unicode name and are not currently supported in HFS, sorry.
i have an idea on how to add support for them, since they are in a real folder with an ansi name, but i'm not sure and anyway i don't know when this will come. Don't hold your breath.
