Title: News about "Logout" ?
Post by: andale on August 05, 2010, 05:06:09 PM
Hi,
any news about the logout function ?
I searched and read many posts in the forum, but all talk of old versions of HFS.
I'm using the 2.3beta version and I did not know whether this is supported logout.
Unfortunately, on most browsers is not enough closure to log out, and this creates a big security problem involuntarily, although HFS is safe.

Thank you all and special thanks to rejetto for giving us this very good product !!
Regards
Andrea

Hi Andrea! :)

Yes, there are many posts about this topic ... and not only on this forum.

Random page:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/449788/http-authentication-logout-via-php

As you can see, this is a concern related to the technology used for HFS.

The solution to the problem is unfortunately not to the agenda (but perhaps in the calendar: cf php in to-do list).

Regards  :)
Olivier

welcome andale!
all browsers i know are ok when you quit them.
it's not ok instead if you close only the tab with HFS and leave the browser running.
sorry but there's no ETA for this, because it's a very big change, despite it may seems quick.
