Why can't two ppl use my DVD.
I can read it ok, but two ppl can't download it.
Do they have to have hfs or anything?
I can't hear and no idea what you mean. Visual verification:

Your DVD is certainly saturated by the simultaneous requests.
-
The file I called my DVD. a file that's 356MBs in size.
-
maybe the 2 people are behind a router or proxy, resulting with the same address.
a solution could be to disable Menu > limits > prevent leeching
-
as say rejetto, in the attached image, two users have the same external IP (145.26.36.158) and hfs (through your router) see them as an only one user.
then if the option "prevent leeching" is checked, hfs must stop one of the two connection.

I followed your instu. now, The test failed: server does not answer.
You are behind a router.
Ensure it is configured to forward port 7000 to your computer.
How do I change it?

I Used to be PC Programmer till my Stroke in 1995. I lost my right side and all hearing.
I never had any use for FTP till I heard about HFS and HTTP ports.
looks like I never had any use for HFS either.
-
Ensure your router is finely configured to forward to you (your pc and hfs) all requests coming to port 7000 (or another if you changed it).
Anyway, the self-test is reporting some false-positives lately, so even if it says it's not working, you may want to try a different test before giving up.

How do I try a different test? http://2wire.com and the self-test are I know.

anything that comes to mind, like you asking a friend to connect to your external address,
or you doing yourself using a browser configured with a proxy to act as you were from the internet,
or using www.coralcdn.org
