Title: How? Stream and Change Bitrate of *.mp3 files...

I just want to listen to my music on my phone through HFS. I have a blackberry working on EDGE (32 kb/s) so i really need to reduce the the bitrate of the songs before downloading on my phone... The other way that i guess will work, is streaming music with a low bitrate but is basically the same thing.

simply reencode the songs lo a lower bitrate.
or take a look at a app called subsonic. (mp3 streamer)
in that you can set the streaming to the bitrate you want.
so it will reencode it for you while you are listening.
