Incase I did not, did you read the readme.txt, or view the example.html? I thought I provided clear enough explanation of the flash variables and embedding code...

The player was designed for our templates and is also targeted at web developers that want a simple, dynamic flash media player for all flash media extensions. The player will play back all the supported flash filetypes.... however it does not have a built in playlist or have a dynamic timeline. Dynamic timelines without a RMTP server require a duration value in seconds to work. It is often provided in the playlist file, so therefore we never added this feature either. But at only 8KB what can you expect. It does more than we expected it would do :)

isn't the "tutorial" you are searching the "readme.txt" file ?

It is, there is even an example.html for using it for other purposes - you don't need to install it if using all but Live template at the moment. Too complicated to explain.
